Baked Carrot Fries

These tasty carrots disappear fast from our table. I love that you can use your favorite spice to add flavor. As a big fan of carrots, I love them with just salt and pepper too. Easy to make and delicious as a side dish or snack.

6 large carrots
2 Tbs olive oil
fresh ground black pepper to taste
1/4 tsp of ground cumin, dill, or parsley (or your favorite spice)
1/2 tsp sea salt, or to taste

Cut each carrot into 2-inch long sections. Cut each section into thin sticks.

In a large bowl toss carrot sticks with olive oil, spice(s) and black pepper.

Spread out carrot sticks on a baking sheet so none of them overlap. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15-20 minutes until carrots are lightly browned.

Sprinkle with salt right after removing from the oven & toss gently.
