Green Smoothie 2 (vegan)

Another fabulous sweet green smoothie! Today, I wanted to use up extra stuff in the fridge and making a smoothie is my favorite way to get nearly all the daily suggested number of fruit and veggie servings. Tastes sweet and delicious, with absolutely no trace of spinach flavor! 🙂

1 – 2 cups packed baby spinach
1 avocado, cut into chunks
2 bananas, fresh or frozen
1 apple, cored and cut into chunks
1 large orange, peeled & seeds removed
1 Tablespoon maple syrup
coconut milk, or your favorite milk
a few handfuls of ice

optional extras:
2 Tablespoons chia seeds
2 – 3 Tablespoons hemp hearts

Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree to your desired consistency.
