Hot Black Bean Dip

Serve as a dip or atop tostadas with cheese. We used these spicy beans for a great plate of nachos!

1 can black beans, mashed
1 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. onion powder
1/8 t. cumin
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
1 t. chili powder
1/4 t. oregano
salt and black pepper

Combine all ingredients in saucepan, simmer until liquid is absorbed and beans are thick.
Garnish with cheese, diced tomato, diced onion, or your favorite topping.
Refrigerate leftovers.
