Jalapeno Popper Pinwheels

How about a delicious appetizer recipe! This is an easy very tasty recipe to put together and only takes 4 ingredients. My fella said he could eat these any time, no problem. I’d have to agree 🙂

If you like a cream cheese-stuffed jalapeno, you’ll dig this.

2 packages of seamless crescent rolls
8 oz of cream cheese, softened
8 oz pepper jack cheese, shredded
1/4 cup pickled jalapeno peppers, diced

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Spread out your crescent roll dough. Spread half of the cream cheese on one sheet of dough, sprinkle half the shredded cheese on top and sprinkle half of the diced jalapeno peppers over the cheese. Repeat with the second sheet of dough.

Roll up each one tightly. Use a piece of floss, string, or a piece of fishing line, and put it underneath your roll up. Cross the ends of the floss over the top of the roll and pull. It will make a clean slice and doesn’t smash the roll up. I cut each one individually and came out with 36 pinwheels.

Place the pieces flat side down on a parchment or silicone baking mat lined baking sheet and bake for 10 – 15 minutes, until dough turns golden brown.
