2 squares of unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 cup flour
1/4 t. salt
1 cup chopped walnuts/pecans
Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and stir well. Add flour and salt, mix til combined. Add nuts and mix until incorporated.
Pour into buttered 8 x 8 baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees F for 40 – 45 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting. Optional: dust top with powdered sugar before serving.
